Glamorgan CCC are looking to recruit a new Operations Assistant to join the team.

Operations Assistant
Job Summary
The Operations Assistant will be responsible for assisting with all operational aspects of the SSE SWALEC Stadium for the day to day operation, match day operations and major events. The appointee will be responsible for the Management of site security and all operational security procedures including booking and managing staff, and will be responsible for working within the Operations team to co-ordinate event planning with other departments and stakeholders.
The post holder may be required to travel to home matches held at Glamorgan ‘out-grounds’ to assist with the management and delivery of match day operations.
The role is also responsible for managing areas such as Waste and Energy Management, Traffic Management, Maintenance checks, and Contractor liaison whilst maintaining strong working relationships with all Stadium partners and visitors.
Skills, Experience and Background
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
• Experience working within the Sports, Entertainment or Events industry
• An understanding and operational experience of Health and Safety management
• Holder of a full driving licence
• IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
Salary
£19k - £22k dependent on experience
