Glamorgan face Hampshire at The Ageas Bowl tomorrow with a win almost assuring them of a place in the quarter-finals.
The Welsh county currently sit at the top of the south group with a two-point lead with just three games to go, however Head Coach Robert Croft is unwilling to take anything for granted.
“It’s the same as it was at the start of the competition,” said Croft. “We pride ourselves on a positive brand of cricket, and we'll see where that gets us. Our focus and determination hasn't changed. We’re treating every game as if it was at the start.”
“The lads are a hungry bunch and they have their eyes set on where they want to go in the competition and we’re looking forward to taking on Hampshire.
Glamorgan will be without the services of South African David Miller who played the final match of his six-match stint for the club against Surrey, but Croft is certain that whoever replaces him will make an impact.
“We’re pretty clear on how we’re going to go about it. We’ve got guys who are very capable of filling in the slot in the battling line-up.
“Every player in this side is fully aware of the ownership they have for their position in the team so it makes no difference if one player comes out and one player comes in.”
Glamorgan won the Royal London One-Day Cup match in Southampton earlier in 2017, chasing down 332 with seven balls to spare.
“We were under severe pressure down there chasing a mammoth total and it was a good finish for us but we’ve had some good battles with Hampshire over recent times and we have a lot of respect for them and I’m sure they respect us,” added Croft.
