Limited Overs Head Coach Mark Alleyne has named a 14-man squad to take on Surrey at The Oval this evening.
New overseas signing Cameron Fletcher has been named in the squad and is in line to make his Glamorgan debut in South London tonight. He comes in as short-term cover for the injured Colin Ingram.
Glamorgan won handsomely last time out in the Battle of the Bridge as they defeated Gloucestershire by 32 runs. The result keeps them still very much in the hunt for a spot in the Quarter-Finals of the Vitality Blast.
Sam Northeast top-scored with 60*, while Timm van der Gugten starred with a fantastic cameo where he scored 38 from 19 balls. Before a very strong all-round bowling performance saw Gloucestershire restricted to 151/8 from their 20 overs.
Tonight's opponents will prove a tough test for the Welsh county as Surrey sit second in the South Group of the Vitality Blast. The South London side were comfortable winners in the reverse fixture and Glamorgan will be prepared for another tough challenge at The Oval.

"We're very happy with the win and hopefully it can be the start of a few more.
"We're still in the hunt. We've got two massive games against Surrey and Somerset, if we can put in a good performance against those two and get a win or two, then we'll definitely be in a position to push for that quarter-final spot."

Last year’s game at The Oval had a gripping finale with Michael Hogan taking 5/18 and nearly helping the Welsh county to snatch a dramatic victory as Surrey chased a target of 174. He had earlier dismissed Jason Roy and Will Jacks before Ollie Pope oversaw a recovery. However, Hogan returned to remove Sam Curran and, with nine needed from 12 balls, Hogan also dismissed Pope as Northeast completed a catch at backward point.
Two balls later, Jordan Clark hoisted Hogan to Kiran Carlson at deep mid-wicket as the over yielded just a single and left Surrey still needing eight from the final over from Michael Neser. Jamie Overton struck the first two balls for two and one, before Chris Jordan flayed the next for two to deep point before scampering another single. Overton then drilled the penultimate delivery from Neser through mid-on for two to seal a hard-fought victory.
Amongst the highlights of Glamorgan’s previous T20 matches at The Oval was the 25-run victory in 2015 with Colin Ingram blasting an imperious 91. This remains the highest individual score for Glamorgan in all T20 matches against Surrey and allowed them to post a competition-best total of 240-3: a mammoth total and in stark contrast to their modest total of 44 on their visit to The Oval in 2019.
