More than 10,000 tickets have now been sold for the ODI between England and Pakistan at Sophia Gardens on Thursday, 8th July.
There are now limited Category A tickets available in the ground (single tickets only) and only limited Category B and C availability in the Croeso Stand and Foster’s Grandstand.
Sophia Gardens will also host back-to-back IT20s between England and Sri Lanka earlier in the summer (23rd & 24th June).
The ticket ballot application window is currently open with supporters able to enter the ballot HERE. The ballot window closes tomorrow (Thursday 11th February) and successful ticket ballot applicants will be notified the next day.
Any remaining tickets will subsequently be released on general sale on Monday 22nd February.
This will be the first time England have featured in three limited-over internationals in a year in Cardiff since 2017 when they played New Zealand and Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy, followed by an IT20 against South Africa.
“We are very much looking forward to our two IT20s against Sri Lanka and our ODI against Pakistan and the early indications are there is a real appetite for international cricket in Wales this summer, said chief executive, Hugh Morris.
“Despite current uncertainty around venue capacities, tickets for our ODI are selling quickly and we have now sold over 10,000 tickets for the fixture, while the ballot entry process for our back-to-back IT20s is currently open and the early signs are very positive.
“We’ve got a robust refund policy in place in case we are unable to reach full capacity, but I’d urge people, if they want tickets, to get them quickly as they are going well at the moment.”
All ticket purchasers are provided with a Ticket Refund Promise to guard against the potential impact of Covid-19 this summer.
