Glamorgan will commence their 2015 LV= County Championship campaign at Grace Road against Leicestershire, as they did in 2012 and 2011, with the four-day contest due to start on the second Sunday in April.
The schedule of fixtures in 2015 will be organised in similar fashion as last season with a majority of Sunday starts for Championship cricket, a dominance of Friday nights for NatWest T20 Blast fixtures beginning in mid-May and the Royal London One-Day Cup arranged in a block of games during the school holidays.
The second away game in the LV=County Championship sees Glamorgan visit Canterbury to play Kent on Sunday 10th May and then a trip to play Surrey at The Kia Oval for the start of the NatWest T20 Blast will complete the Welsh county's early season travels on Friday 15th May. These two fixtures are preceded by back-to-back Championship fixtures at the SWALEC Stadium, both scheduled to start on Sundays, against Surrey and Derbyshire - the two counties relegated from the First Division in 2013.
In the NatWest T20 Blast, after the opening match away to Surrey, Glamorgan play three consecutive home games on Friday nights against Essex Eagles, Hampshire and Middlesex. The first of which completes five days of East v West action at the SWALEC Stadium against Essex, as the T20 Blast fixture immediately follows the LV= County Championship game in Cardiff.
There are five Friday night home games for Glamorgan in the 2015 Blast competition in all, along with a Sunday game and a televised Saturday contest against Sussex and Somerset respectively. Four of the Welsh county's final five group games are on the road, so early success in the competition may be crucial in repeating last year's progress to the knockout stages. The potentially decisive final group game is at home to Gloucestershire for the third year in a row.
There are Championship matches scheduled at two picturesque out-grounds where other counties hold Festival Weeks, with Glamorgan playing Derbyshire at Queen's Park in Chesterfield, as well as meeting Surrey at Woodbridge Road, Guildford - the scene of their record-breaking run-chase against the South London club in the One-Day Cup last summer.
Glamorgan will also host matches at their own much-loved out-grounds in Swansea and Colwyn Bay, with a visit to North Wales for the LV-County Championship match against Lancashire. The game at the Rhos-on-Sea ground starts on Sunday 19th July, whilst Gloucestershire will be the visitors to St.Helen's in the same competition, with the four-day contest starting on Thursday 6th August, and preceded by the 50-over match in the Royal London One-Day Cup against Sussex on Wednesday 5th August.
The 50-over Royal London One Day Cup is also similar in format as last year with the 18 First-Class Counties divided into two pools of nine and playing each other once, either home or away. Beginning on minus two points, Glamorgan travel to play Nottinghamshire for the opening match in late July, before three contests in Cardiff versus Kent, Essex and Hampshire.
The SWALEC Stadium will of course play host to the First Ashes Test Match, as the Investec Series returns to Wales from 8th - 12th July as well as the NatWest T20 International double-header on August Bank Holiday Monday between England and Australia and the final game of the 2015 Women's Ashes Series the same day.
Glamorgan's first-class season will commence on Thursday, April 2nd as they meet Cardiff MCCU in a three-day friendly at the SWALEC Stadium. Details of start times and also arrangements for pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course. Membership and T20 Blast Season Tickets are now available priced from £60.
