For the fourth year in a row, the BBC will be providing commentary from every first class county cricket match played in England and Wales across its local radio stations and online.
That's a total of more than 350 games taking place across nearly 800 days.
With commentary from Division One and Division Two of the County Championship, and the two major one-day trophies, the BBC's 39 local radio stations in England and BBC Wales will once again let fans follow their teams throughout the season.
Audiences can tune in to receive expert analysis from figures with a wealth of experience within the game. They include county players such as the former Hampshire all-rounder Kevan James, who's now on commentary duties for BBC Radio Solent, plus county cricket's commentator of the year Clive Eakin who follows Warwickshire for BBC WM and BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
The BBC's Head of Sport for English Regions, Charles Runcie, says: We're proud to deliver every ball from every first class county cricket match for the fourth year in a row. Getting audiences to the heart of the sporting action is a vital service that the BBC's local radio network continues to provide to cricket fans across the counties.
Whether we'll see Yorkshire lift the trophy for a third time this year or not, listeners can be certain that our team of BBC reporters and commentators will continue to travel the length and breadth of England and Wales to bring you the latest coverage of your county.
