Will Bragg is one of three players in line for a return to the Glamorgan starting eleven, as the Welsh county prepare to take on Kent in the Specsavers County Championship.
Bragg joins Mark Wallace and Andrew Salter in a 12-man squad for the four-day encounter, which begins at 11am tomorrow (Sunday) morning at The SSE SWALEC.
Glamorgan will be hoping to carry their white-ball form into the longer format, after four T20 wins and three 50-over victories since they last played a match in the County Championship.
After a difficult start – Glamorgan did not register a win in their opening six four-day matches – captain Jacques Rudolph said it was important to remain focussed on the competition, despite his side's superior form in the shorter formats.
He said: "The good thing is that a lot of our batsmen are in good form at the moment and we'll keep playing a positive brand of cricket.
"In the four-day competiton the first six games didn't go to plan and unfortunately we're sitting bottom of the log (table), even though in our last two games we had a good chance of winning."
"But now with the 50-over cricket and the t20s going well, they take a bit of priority – though the four-day competition is still important for us.
"It's going to be a big challenge to go from white ball cricket to a four-day game, so when we turn up on Sunday, we need to have our mental attitudes right."
Glamorgan's 12-man squad for the match is: Jacques Rudolph (capt.), Mark Wallace, Will Bragg, Chris Cooke, Aneurin Donald, David Lloyd, Graham Wagg, Craig Meschede, Andrew Salter, Timm van der Gugten, Michael Hogan, Ruaidhri Smith.
Glamorgan take on Kent from 11am on Sunday. Entry for the first day of the Specsavers County Championship is free, with a Real Ale Festival taking place on the lawn behind the Really Welsh Pavilion, in celebration of Father's Day.
