New overseas signing Joe Burns feels well prepared to take on Somerset tomorrow night at Sophia Gardens despite only arriving in the country on Tuesday.
Burns believes it is now the job of a professional cricketer to always be ready for the next challenge and to play at short notice.
"Part of being a professional player is sliding in and out of different teams and competitions in the world and being prepared to play all year round," said Burns.
"It's something that comes easier with experience. I've played quite a lot of cricket now so I know what I need to do and you know know how you need to prepare and you just go out there and play.
"I'm looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully it's great weather, a good atmosphere and hopefully we get a Glamorgan win."
