Cardiff to host ODI Series Finale in 2016 as England play Sri Lanka and Pakistan

The SSE SWALEC in Cardiff has been chosen to host the final matches of England's Royal London One-Day International series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in 2016.
England will face Sri Lanka on Saturday 2 July with Pakistan providing the opposition on Sunday 4 September, with both games expected to be day games.

Glamorgan members will enjoy priority access to 2016 international tickets from Wednesday 16 September with general sale to launch on Thursday 1 October.

2016 membership will go on sale on Wednesday 16th September for those wishing to get to the front of the queue with a further priority window on Tuesday 29 September for past buyers and those that register for priority access at glamorgancricket.com/tickets

Both of our 2015 internationals were complete sell-outs and we look forward to welcoming supporters back to Cardiff in 2016, said Glamorgan Chief Executive Hugh Morris.

We're delighted to be hosting two weekend fixtures that will serve as the climax of each series.

England are playing good cricket and will see the Ashes win as a springboard for a period of consistent performances.

Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also attract strong support from their own communities in this country which all adds up to another exciting summer of international action played in front of packed houses for all three formats of the game.

England's 2016 home internationals will begin with international season will begin with Investec Test Matches against Sri Lanka at Headingley and The Emirates Durham ICG before the three-match series concludes at Lord's.

Trent Bridge, Edgbaston, Bristol, The Kia Oval and The SSE SWALEC, Cardiff will then stage Royal London One-Day Internationals before a NatWest T20 International double-header rounds off the tour at The Ageas Bowl.

Lord's will host the opening clash in England's four-match Investec Test series against Pakistan with Emirates Old Trafford, Edgbaston and The Kia Oval also serving as host venues.

Pakistan's tour will then conclude with The Ageas Bowl, Lord's, Trent Bridge, Headingley and The SSE SWALEC staging Royal London One-Day Internationals and Emirates Old Trafford staging the final international action of the summer; a NatWest International T20.
