Colin Ingram said Glamorgan played some \'intelligent\' cricket with bat, ball and in the field after he led the Welsh county to a third successive win in white ball cricket.
Ingram repeated the old mantra that 'catches win matches' after some superb fielding in the deep ensured Sussex fell short of Glamorgan's total of 302.
That score was set up by Chris Cooke's 80 and Graham Wagg, who hit a quickfire 52 from 37 balls, before Glamorgan's bowlers dismissed the Sharks for 218.
Ingram, who was stand-in captain on-field in place of Jacques Rudolph – who hurt his forearm after being struck by a rising delivery – praised Glamorgan's character and professionalism after the game.
He said: "I felt we played some intelligent cricket from start to finish and it's very pleasing to come away with another win.
"We built some really good partnerships, which was key, and then Graham and Chris came together and really moved the total on in the final stages of the innings."
Michael Hogan then led the way with the ball, finishing with 4/41 as Glamorgan blew the Sharks away in the sweltering evening sunshine.
Ingram added: "But as well as that, I thought we bowled well and took some absolutely superb catches and as my coach said to me at under 11s, catches win matches. They certainly did tonight."
Ingram will be hoping Glamorgan's stellar form can continue into Friday night's clash against Glocuestershire in Bristol. The Welsh county now have four victories in their previous five matches in all competitions.
He added: "Now we have got some momentum going and the guys are really happy."
