Dean Cosker was content with his individual contribution to a Second XI success which saw Glamorgan triumph over Yorkshire by 47 runs over three days at The SSE SWALEC.
Cosker captained the side to a victory, which was manufactured with a couple of sporting declarations from both teams, but the game then saw Glamorgan's bowlers dismiss Yorkshire for 273 all out on the third day to claim victory.
After Mark Wallace had made 128* and Nick Selman 68* to post 200/0 declared and give the visitors a target of 320 to win, Cosker took 4/77 and fellow left-arm spinner Owen Morgan 4/74 on a turning pitch in Cardiff.
And Cosker was happy with the team performance, as well as his own.
He said: "It was nice to get the ball in hand and get a few overs under my belt after coming back from a calf injury, which had been keeping me out for a couple of weeks.
"It was good to find my own rhythm and take a few wickets on a turning pitch."
Cosker, 38, is still an important cog in the Glamorgan squad and revealed his first team ambitions for the season ahead in both red and white ball cricket.
With a number of Second XI players performing well, Cosker was also delighted to see competition for places at the club.
He added: "I'm at the age now where I'm taking every week as it comes but I'm still excited about playing for Glamorgan – I've done it for 20 years and I'm still passionate about playing for Glamorgan in all formats.
"T20 and white ball cricket excites me and I want to be pushing Salts, and taking wickets for the 2nd XI certainly helps my cause."
"It was a good performance overall. This club is all about competition for places and strong squads make for good players in first team cricket and hopefully Robert and the guys in the first team have taken note of some of the performances we put in this week, so it was really pleasing to see."
