Glamorgan Head Coach Robert Croft is raring to go as his side travel to Bristol on Friday to begin their Specsavers County Championship campaign against Gloucestershire.
Croft is happy with preparations heading into the new season with the squad benefiting from a successful pre-season trip out in Dubai as well as many players gaining valuable experience abroad during the winter.
"The winter has been very good, we started back in November where players worked on techniques and then through Christmas where some of our players went out to South Africa. All over winter we've had a lot of players abroad, which has been good for their life development along with their cricket development.
"We're not looking at any goals right now, we're looking at every game in isolation. For us it's about making sure the players execute the role they're asked to play and that they are comfortable with it.
"After that we will look for improvement, from an individual basis and then we'll look to give opportunity to the generations that we're investing in for the future."
