Fast bowler Marchant de Lange arrived back in Wales today full of excitement for the season ahead.
De Lange has had a busy winter playing at home in South Africa but arrives in Cardiff keen to build on his performances last year and in particular his form in the Specsavers County Championship.
“I’m really excited for this season and I’m ready as always," said de Lange.
“I think last year I had to find me feet with the new conditions and had to bowl a bit fuller than I’m used to. Hopefully this year I can work on that and perform a bit better.
“One of my goals is to be the leading wicket-taker in the four-day campaign.”
