ECB Diversity Award Success

Glamorgan County Cricket Club and Cricket Wales lifted the ECB Diversity Project Award at last night's 2nd Annual Talk Home Mobile Asian Cricket Awards, held at Lord's, in recognition of the hugely successful 'Cricket Without Boundaries' project.
Peter Hybart, Ali Abdi and Mark Frost, representing the BME Cricket Wales project and Glamorgan CCC, were in attendance at the home of cricket to pick up the award ahead of the other shortlisted counties Leicestershire and Lancashire.

The 'Cricket without Boundaries' project aims to make cricket more accessible for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in Cardiff and create a thriving BME Cricket network capable of increasing and sustaining participation in cricket. Our project will focuses upon young people aged 13 - 25 and provides a range of activities including doorstep clubs, indoor cricket and mid-week cricket.
