Glamorgan players Graham Wagg, Dean Cosker and Will Bragg have made an early Easter visit to the Noah\'s Ark Children\'s Hospital for Wales to meet children and give out Easter eggs and cricket treats.

The annual trip for the players allowed them to meet children in the outpatients unit as well as deliver Easter Eggs to the hospital's play specialists to give to children staying at the hospital over the bank holiday weekend, The visit is part of the club's partnership with the charity.

As a partner club, Glamorgan Cricket also help fundraise for the charity on match days, and will be hosting the Noah's Ark Teddy Bear picnic event at The SSE SWALEC next month.

Speaking about their visit, Dean Cosker said, "It's always nice to give a little bit back, especially at Easter, to the children at the hospital. Noah's Ark are part of the community partnership programme at Glamorgan and to see some smiles on their faces is fantastic."

Will Bragg said: "This charity does some phenomenal things for young children in South Wales and I suppose it puts things in perspective.

"As sportsmen you generally get fully immersed in your sport and think it's the only thing that exists in the world, so to take a step back from training and see the bigger picture, resonates close to the heart."

Noah's Ark Charity senior fundraiser. Linda Davies, said: "We're delighted to have Glamorgan Cricket Club on board as part of the Noah's Ark family. Their visit today really brightened up some of the children's day and we're really looking forward to having the team and their families as guests at our big Teddy Bear's Picnic at the SWALEC Stadium next month."

The Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity will host its Teddy Bear's picnic family event on Saturday 23rd April at The SSE SWALEC, the home of Glamorgan CCC, with a variety of family entertainment for all to enjoy. All proceeds will go towards supporting the charity in helping the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales provide the best care possible for the 73,000 children who are treated there each year.
