Enhanced live stream - thanks to our Members

12 Aug 2020 | Cricket

Glamorgan Cricket has partnered with sports production company Camsat, a local Welsh company, to bring a new and improved live stream to Glamorgan’s fanbase. The investment comes after Glamorgan’s members decided, in vast numbers, to donate their membership fees to the Club, and will cover the Club’s two home Bob Willis Trophy fixtures as well as all Vitality Blast fixtures.

The live stream will feature three manned cameras and a fixed camera as well as integrating the two analyst cameras from behind the bowler at each end.

Camsat have previously worked on Commonwealth and Olympics games, as well as international hockey and football events and the International Eisteddfod, and they bring a wealth of live sports broadcast experience.

Hugh Morris, Chief Executive, said: “Our members and supporters have demonstrated incredible loyalty to us during this period, and have always supported us through thick and thin, and we believe that as a Club we needed to reward that loyalty in the best way possible in this unusual 2020 season.

“Even though our fans cannot be with us in person, we know they are in spirit and now they can view cricket at Sophia Gardens with our best offering yet.

“We’re also working with our partners across the county game to help our fans access away games, and to help away fans with access to our upgraded live stream throughout the season.”
