Welsh Fire take on London Spirit in their final home double-header of the campaign this Sunday (20th August).
Welsh Fire captain Tammy Beaumont hit the highest-ever score in The Hundred on Monday, 118 off 61 balls, steering her team to a record total of 181 for 3 in the Women’s competition.
The England opener’s 118 runs topped the 108 by Will Jacks of Oval Invincibles. It was also the first century by a woman in The Hundred and only the third in the men’s and women’s competitions combined.
The team score of 181 topped the 166 scored by Southern Brave Women against Welsh Fire two years ago.
