Head Coach Robert Croft has named a squad of 13 as Glamorgan look to continue their improved form in the Specsavers County Championship against Sussex tomorrow at The SSE SWALEC (11am start).
Owen Morgan, the hero of Glamorgan's five-wicket victory over Worcestershire in their last game, is included in the squad and Timm van der Gugten returns after being rested for the New Road encounter.
Seam trio Michael Hogan, Graham Wagg and Craig Meschede are all included again, as sixth take on seventh in the County Championship.
Both counties harbour hopes of a last-dash promotion charge. If Glamorgan can win this match and their next against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road, they stand a chance of pushing Leicestershire and Essex for top spot.
Morgan, who hit a century as nightwatchman in the last match, is hoping to continue his exploits with bat and ball after breaking into Glamorgan's four-day side this season. The 22-year-old is expected to play his fifth first-class match for the Welsh county.
He said: "At the start of the year I wouldn't have imagined myself in this position (as a match-winning centurion), so I'm very pleased. I've always been able to bat but this year it's glued together a bit more and it's given me a lot more more confidence.
"Being a bowler is obviously my main suit but hopefully I can become a good all-rounder."
Glamorgan's 13-man squad: Jacques Rudolph (capt.), Nick Selman, Will Bragg, Aneurin Donald, David Lloyd, Mark Wallace, Craig Meschede, Graham Wagg, Owen Morgan, Timm van der Gugten, Michael Hogan, Ruaidhri Smith, Andrew Salter.
The clash gets underway at 11am tomorrow at The SSE SWALEC, Cardiff.
