Glamorgan Cricket Club players Graham Wagg and James Kettleborough made a festive visit to Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales to meet the children and give out goody bags and some cricket treats before Christmas!
The players made their way around the wards and brought great joy to many patients and families in hospital at this festive time, while posing for photos and signing autographs.
The players met five year old Lewys, from Grangetown, who was very excited by his new Glamorgan Cricket Frisbee. Lewys who was staying at the hospital for the second time in three weeks, was taken into the hospital unable to breathe the evening before and had been on Oxygen ever since, really picked up when he saw Graham and James.
Mum Emma said; He loves it here, sleeping in a hospital bed is so exciting for him and getting such special visitors. It was so worrying for us last night, seeing him not being able to breathe or speak as he's usually such a bubbly little boy.
Speaking after the visit Graham said; Having two young children it's so emotional seeing these kids in hospital going through so much, but all the families seem so happy.
James added; It's the first time I've had the chance to do something like this, it's quite an eye-opener, really moving you see the families putting on a brave face as it's such a difficult time for them. It's a real honour to be able to meet them all today.
Graham continued to discuss Glamorgan Cricket's new partnership with Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity and how important it is to him; It's a massive thing for Glamorgan to be involved with. I've said before we came to the hospital today it's a charity that means so much to me personally so I'm really excited and passionate about helping in every way I can both personally and with Glamorgan.
Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity have joined together with Glamorgan Cricket Club for a charity partnership for 2015 to raise vital funds for Phase Two for the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales.
