Glamorgan Cricket is thrilled to announce the remaining fixtures for the 2025 season, with an exciting calendar ahead for both the Men’s and Women’s teams.
The Glamorgan Men’s season begins with a home fixture against Leicestershire in the Rothesay County Championship from Friday 4 to Monday 7 April. This is followed by away trips to Gloucestershire and Middlesex in April with the team returning to Sophia Gardens for a busy May that will see them play Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Middlesex. They’ll then play Leicestershire, Gloucestershire, Kent and Lancashire in July, before a packed August filled with Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures.
The Glamorgan Men’s team will look to defend their Metro Bank One Day Cup title with their first two home games in the competition against Hampshire and Derbyshire Falcons taking place at Neath Cricket Club on Tuesday 5 and Thursday 7 August. The team will then play Derbyshire Falcons, Surrey, Gloucestershire, Notts Outlaws, Essex, Worcestershire and Leicestershire Foxes.
Following last week’s confirmation of the Men’s and Women’s Blast Fixtures and the new Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup, the historic schedule will now see the Glamorgan Women’s team also competing in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
The first Glamorgan Metro Bank One Day Cup Women’s League 2 home game will be on Saturday 19 April against Sussex Sharks, followed by games against Middlesex, Gloucestershire, and Derbyshire Falcons. They will also face Leicestershire Foxes, Yorkshire, Kent, Worcestershire Rapids, and Northamptonshire Steelbacks in August.
Mark Wallace, Glamorgan Director of Cricket, said: “Getting the full list of fixtures is always an exciting point of the year as you start to look forward to the season. We look forward to trying to defend our Metro Bank One Day Cup trophy when we get around to August.”
Aimee Rees, Glamorgan Head of Women and Girls Cricket, added: “It’s great to see the men’s and women’s competition on an equal footing. The women’s squad are excited to be playing in the Metro Bank One Day Cup alongside the Glamorgan Men’s team. This is another big stride for the women’s game here at Glamorgan.”
