Glamorgan Looking to Improve - Rudolph

29 May 2015 | Cricket
Glamorgan suffered a disappointing 21 run defeat at the hands of Hampshire on Friday night at the SWALEC stadium, despite a brilliant all-round effort from Graham Wagg.
Wagg starred with the ball taking 4-28 and alongside Wayne Parnell (2-23) restricted Hampshire to 148/8. Jacques Rudolph and Mark Wallace combined for 69 runs to take Glamorgan within touching distance of Hampshire's total.

With 90 runs needed in the last 60 balls you should potentially back yourselves, we lost a bit of momentum but that's not an excuse, skipper Jacques Rudolph said.

We haven't started well with the bat in our last 2 games, and that is somewhere we are looking to improve for next week.

It means a lot to the guys when we play at the SWALEC, and it means a lot to us to see the fans coming down here. We always aim to put our best performance on for the crowd, unfortunately today that didn't come together.

Glamorgan's next T20 match is next Friday 5th June at the SWALEC against Middlesex. Tickets are available from £15 for adults in advance and £5 for juniors

They've always been a good team, but last year we had a great game against them. We need to regroup and attack that game and the four-day match this week also.
