Head Coach Robert Croft has named a 13-man squad for Glamorgan\'s tonight’s showdown against Gloucestershire at Sophia Gardens in the Vitality Blast.
Despite the loss of Joe Burns through injury and Colin Ingram to illness, the Welsh county upset the odds to run out victors against Surrey at The Oval on Tuesday night.
Kiran Carlson scored his maiden half-century in the Vitality Blast, with Craig Meschede striking 43 and Graham Wagg an unbeaten 46* which helped seal the win.
Usman Khawaja will play his final game for Glamorgan this season tonight after being called back by Cricket Australia for a training camp before Australia A's tour of India.
Ingram meanwhile will miss the match after failing to recover from the allergic reaction which kept him out of Tueaday’s game. Glamorgan will also be without Joe Burns who is returning home to Australia to recover from a back injury.
It means that Glamorgan will be without their captain and a second overseas player in their squad to face Gloucestershire, but Wagg believes Glamorgan can cope without key players.
"It's something we have to deal with," said Wagg. "It was unfortunate that Colin and Joe went down for the last game but other boys put their hands up. Craig Meschede played very well at number three and Kiran also did really well.
"It's not ideal for us, but then again it wouldn't be for any county to lose three players of that quality."
Wagg guided Glamorgan through to victory against Surrey after coming in at number six and the all-rounder insists it'll take another big performance from his team to defeat the Vitality Blast South Group leaders Gloucestershire.
"It was a hell of a win [against Surrey] and Gloucestershire won their last game so it's going to be a big game," added Wagg. "We deserve to get one over them after losing at Cheltenham so we're looking forward to a good crowd and having a good win at home.
"In T20 cricket one player can win you a game so it'll take a gutsy effort from the boys. There's a lot of quality in our dressing room from younger players through to the senior guys so we'll have to put in a good performance to beat Gloucestershire because they are a good team."
