Glamorgan will travel to Dubai in March as part of their pre-season preparation.
The Welsh county will play friendly matches against Surrey and Lancashire during the 10-day warm-weather training camp.
In total Glamorgan will play four days of friendly cricket over the tour, as well as further training, which Chief Executive Hugh Morris hopes will boost the team's preparation ahead of their Specsavers County Championship campaign.
We've started the last few seasons slowly, so we want to give the players as much opportunity as possible," said Morris
"We're going to be playing a two-day game against Lancashire and two one-day games against Surrey, so the boys will be out in the sunshine with good facilities and really good opposition."
On their return, Glamorgan face Gloucestershire and Lancashire in two pre-season friendlies, before Glamorgan play a friendly against Cardiff MCCU on Friday 13 April. They then kick-off their Specsavers County Championship campaign against Gloucestershire at Bristol a week later.
