Glamorgan begin their home Royal London One-Day Cup campaign at home to Kent Spitfires on Tuesday. It will be the second match in this year's competition after Sunday's opener away to Notts Outlaws.
The format offers the side a chance to take part in a Lord's final if they are able to progress through the group stages and the knockout rounds. Led by Jacques Rudolph, Glamorgan only narrowly missed out on a place in the quarterfinals last time out. With the side's T20 campaign in the balance, the 50-over competition can provide the side with a chance of some silverware for the 2015 season.
The experienced heads of Rudolph, Mark Wallace, Michael Hogan and Dean Cosker will be looking to blend with a raft of younger players. The likes of Aneurin Donald, Andrew Salter, Craig Meschede and David Lloyd will all be hoping to impress during the eight group matches.
Sky cameras will be at The SSE SWALEC for Tuesday's match as we welcome Kent to Cardiff for the RLODC clash. Led by Robert Key, Kent will be a dangerous side, not only did they reach the semi-finals of this competition last season, but they sit pretty atop the South Group in the T20 Blast.
Sam Northeast will be a player to watch, as he has scored over 600 runs in this years Blast. Glamorgan's bowlers will need to on top form to contain the opening batsmen.
