After their two-wicket victory over Somerset at Taunton on Sunday afternoon, Glamorgan return to their headquarters to meet the Steelbacks who, as the list below shows of their last six meetings in List A cricket against Glamorgan were victorious last summer at Northampton with Ricardo Vasconcelos scoring 104 as the East Midlands side raced to a six-wicket victory.

25 Aug 2008 at Northampton – Glamorgan won by 12 runs.
4 May 2009 at Northampton – Northamptonshire won by 35 runs.
19 May 2009 at Swansea - Match Abandoned.
9 Aug 2009 at Colwyn Bay – Northamptonshire won by 6 runs.
25 July 2021 at Northampton – Glamorgan won by 59 runs.
12 Aug 2022 at Northampton - Northamptonshire won by 6 wickets.

Glamorgan had been victorious at the Wantage Road ground in 2021 after Hamish Rutherford (86) and Tom Cullen (58*) had starred with the bat for Glamorgan as the visitors amassed 295-6. Despite half-centuries from Ben Curran and Tom Taylor, Northants were pegged back by a waspish new ball spell from Michael Hogan (3/26) before Joe Cooke (3/32) filleted the lower order to clinch a deserved victory by 59 runs.

Glamorgan’s previous victory in List A cricket against the East Midlands side had been at Northampton during August 2008 when the Welsh county won a 40-over contest after Tom Maynard had struck a forthright 46, before some probing bowling by James Harris, Alex Wharf and Dean Cosker contained the home batsmen.
