Glamorgan 2nd XI to play their first game of the season at Sophia Gardens against Gloucestershire starting Monday 14 April.
As the first team play away across the bridge at Gloucestershire, the 2nd XI will host the Severnside rivals at the Home of Welsh Cricket in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff for a 3-day friendly fixture ahead of the Championship Challenge beginning in June. New appointment Mark O'Leary, a familiar figure in South Wales, announced a 13-member squad for the 2nd XI's first match of the season:

Dan Douthwaite is progressing well from his pec injury and is available for selection for the 2nd XI to build his chronic bowling workloads ahead of the next round of fixtures for the first team in the Rothesay County Championship.
