Glamorgan face Hampshire this Friday in the final Vitality Blast fixture of the season at Sophia Gardens. Some of the world's best T20 players will be in action including master blaster Colin Ingram and England World Cup winners James Vince and Liam Dawson.

Here’s our helpful event guide of all the action, on and off the field, with gates opening at 5:00pm and the match starting at 6:30pm.

Seating at Glamorgan Cricket's Vitality Blast matches in Cardiff is unallocated, so you can choose your view of the action!

Travel

There is no public car parking available at the Stadium. There are a number of independent car parks located throughout the city, visit www.ncp.co.uk/cardiff.

Food

Whatever whets your appetite, there’s sure to be a dish that will tickle your taste buds at T20 Cricket

From traditional classics - such as Pasties, Hog Dogs and Burgers – there’s an extensive range of catering outlets located around Glamorgan County Cricket Club to fuel your hunger.

With all of our catering outlets offering vibrant flavours and exciting menus, plus a wide selection of vendors serving gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menu options, you’re such to find something that you can enjoy during a well-earned break from the action.

Bars & Caddies – Overview

You’ll never be far away from a refreshing beverage, with bars and caddies located around the venue. Whether you fancy a draught lager, a classic G&T or a soft drink – we’ve got you covered.

Head to the Tiki Bar at Castell Howell Stand for a choice of beer, lager and cider as well as a range of soft and hot drinks. If you’re feeling fruity go for the Strongbow Dark Fruits or if you’re feeling adventurous, we have a choice of ales on offer.

Drink

There will be multiple public bars located around the venue offering a full range of beverages, including soft drinks, hot drinks, draught lager, ale and cider. You will be able to find this wide selection underneath the Castell Howell Stand, Foster’s Grandstand, Pavilion Stand and Riverside.

Help Glamorgan stay green and use our Green Goblets, with deposits for plastic pint glasses being £1.

There will be free water refill unit available from underneath the Castell Howell Stand, Foster’s Grandstand and Pavilion car parking area.

You can also get a 10% discount on food and drink from our official pub partner Pontcanna Inn before and after the game – just show you membership card or match day ticket when served at the bar to claim the offer.

Entertainment

There are plenty of activities going on around the stadium to keep you entertained. You’ll be able to test your cricket skills in the SPTS Youth Zone, scale the Boulders climbing wall or try golf, football and other sports.

There will also be live music from Brewhouse, underneath the Castell Howell Stand. We will also host a player signing session after the match in front of the Discover Leeks Pavilion. All of these activities are free, so beat the queues and come down early.

Safety and security

Comprehensive security measures will be in place for all those visiting Sophia Gardens Cardiff and all bags will be searched on entrance. On arrival at your specified gate, your match ticket will be checked by a steward. Please have your match ticket available as you enter the Stadium. Our stewards will be happy to assist with any queries you may have. If you have any safety or security concerns on the day, please contact your nearest steward who will be happy to assist.
