Head Coach Robert Croft has restored Graham Wagg, Craig Meschede and Michael Hogan to the squad for the trip to New Road to play promotion chasing Worcestershire tomorrow.
Both teams suffered defeat in their previous outings in the Specsavers County Championship, with Glamorgan resting three first team regulars for their match in Swansea against Northamptonshire, whilst Kent inflicted Worcestershire's second loss in red ball cricket this campaign.
Lukas Carey enjoyed a memorable debut personally in Swansea with 7 wickets in the match and will hope for another opportunity, but the return of the experienced Hogan and Wagg alongside Meschede is welcome given they have taken 58 wickets in the County Championship so far this season. Ruaidhri Smith is not included after suffering a side strain at Swansea whilst Colin Ingram and Chris Cooke will be absent for the rest of the season with their own injuries.
With a game or two in hand over most teams in the Division Two table, Croft hopes to see his players fight to the end of the season.
"I'm looking for the pride and character of the players in the squad now to build a team for next year," said Croft. "The players I want are those who are prepared to fight and scrap and I'll learn a lot about these players in the next 6 games."
Worcestershire have to replace paceman Kyle Abbott after his return to international duty with South Africa, so left armer Jack Shantry returns to the squad.
