Glamorgan County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has agreed to extend his Patronage of the Club for another five years.
Glamorgan Chairman Barry O'Brien said, It has been an honour for the Club to have HRH The Prince of Wales as our Patron since 1986 and we were delighted to receive word from Clarence House with news that this will continue until September 2019.
Next year we look forward to the return of the Investec Ashes to Wales for the opening Test of the 2015 Series, when cricket in Wales will again take centre stage. To have the ongoing support of HRH The Prince of Wales is testimony to the positive role Glamorgan CCC continues to play in Wales and his global leadership is an endorsement throughout the wider support base of the Club and cricket internationally.
