Batsman Colin Ingram believes fellow South African David Miller will have a big impact on Glamorgan’s NatWest T20 campaign.
Miller arrives in Wales on Saturday and is available for six of Glamorgan’s matches, starting with the Essex Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
"From the squad’s point of view it is extremely exciting to get someone of the calibre of David Miller coming in with fresh energy,” said Ingram.
"We’ve had a few injuries (Carlson and Lloyd) so it’s great to replace them with the experience David has.
"He’s an exciting player who hits the ball a long way. We’ve all seen him on the world stage, he’s been an international player for a long time now and then he’s been at the IPL, CPL and he’s played successfully out here as well.
"We can expect some fireworks from him and he’s a great guy to have in the squad as well. I’m really excited to hear he is joining us. We’ve got some good momentum ahead of this weekend after victory last weekend. With two games in front of our home crowd we’re excited to back playing in Cardiff and hopefully we can get a couple more wins."
Adult advance tickets to watch Ingram and Miller in action are just £16, while in a special offer for Sunday's game tickets for U17s are only £1.
