Despite Glamorgan's eight-wicket loss to Sussex, batsman Kiran Carlson believes there are plenty of positives to take from the defeat into the Welsh county's next fixture against Northamptonshire on Thursday.
One of those will be Carlson's own form after he recorded hundreds in both innings, which he put down to some technical tweaks and a change in mindset.
"As a team there were a few good things this week," said Carlson. "If we can just stick to our process we can definitely get a result [at Northampton] and I think it is one of those things that we just need to stick with it this season and the results will come."
"It is nice to have person milestones, but it never gets easier losing. I think it is just important for us to take the positives from this week and move on to next week.
"There has been a bit of technical stuff, a bit of mindset shift, that’s it really, just trying to go out there with a clear head."
