An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the existing Groundstaff at Glamorgan County Cricket Club.
Based predominantly at The SSE SWALEC this is a Full time position and an excellent opportunity to progress your skills in an environment that encourages continued professional development and within a company that strives for the highest standards.
The successful candidate will assist the Head Groundsman and his team in the preparation of pitches, practice nets, outfield and other areas of The SSE SWALEC and it's out grounds to First Class and International standards.
A flexible attitude towards working long hours, weekends and bank holidays is essential due to the seasonal nature of the job, and the preferred candidate will ideally have at least 2 years' experience within the sports turf industry.
A recognised turf maintenance qualification (NVQ 2 or equivalent) and a full clean EU driving licence are desirable but not essential.
