David Lloyd returns to the Glamorgan squad for tonight's NatWest T20 Blast against Middlesex at The SSE SWALEC (6.30pm) following his return from injury.
Lloyd who signed a new contract with the Welsh county this week played a 2nd XI match yesterday after recovering from a hamstring injury quicker than anticipated and joins the squad in place of Will Bragg.
Glamorgan Head Coach Toby Radford has otherwise kept with the same squad that played Hampshire last Friday night in Cardiff, so overseas signing Wayne Parnell is expected to open the bowling again on his second appearance for the Club, although there may be a change to captain Jacques Rudolph's batting partner at the top of the order.
The key to this competition is you have to find your method and recipe as quickly as possible, said Rudolph.
We have a few options to consider for the batting order, but once we are settled, it's key for players to know they are going to have a few games in the same position.
This is so they can try and get confidence and fulfil their roles as best as possible. Hopefully over the next few games we can gain some momentum.
Rudolph will also have fellow South African Wayne Parnell available again after the fast bowler took 2-23 on his debut last Friday, overcoming a groin injury which forced him to miss the first two games of the T20 campaign.
Speaking about his compatriot Wayne Parnell's debut last week Rudolph added, For his first game back he was pleased with his performance.
It's nice for me as a captain knowing I have Wayne and Michael Hogan with the new ball and they can take wickets early on.
Middlesex lost to Hampshire themselves last night at the Ageas Bowl, but will be boosted by the immediate return of Kyle Abbott to their team, who will add both pace and penetration to the front and back end of the visitor's attack.
Glamorgan 13-man squad to play Middlesex: Jacques Rudolph, Chris Cooke, Dean Cosker, Michael Hogan, Colin Ingram, David Lloyd, Craig Meschede, Wayne Parnell, Andrew Salter, Ruaidhri Smith, Graham Wagg, Mark Wallace, Ben Wright
