Now that the sporting year is drawing to a close, it’s an appropriate time to cast a glance ahead to the summer of 2018. Over the next few days this “Looking Ahead to 2018” feature will focus on some of the career milestones which are looming for Glamorgan’s players during the coming months.
So far during his glittering career with Glamorgan, Colin Ingram has struck 78 sixes in Twenty20 cricket. After striking 19 in his first summer with the Welsh county in 2015, Colin added 29 in 2016 before blitzing 30 last summer. If he continues his six-hitting spree in 2018, a further 22 will see him become the first batsman in the county’s history to reach a century of sixes in the short format of the game.
