Chairman Barry O’Brien and Chief Executive Hugh Morris attended the ECB meeting at Lord’s on Wednesday 14th September convened to consider the structure of the professional game in England and Wales and, in particular, the creation of a new city based T20 tournament to be played in addition to the existing NatWest T20 Blast.
A large majority of the First Class Counties were supportive of moving to the next stage of the plan including the opportunity for Counties to consult with their Members on the proposals.
Accordingly, Glamorgan CCC shall be holding a forum for Members at 7pm on Monday 10th October in the Legends Lounge (ground floor National Cricket Centre) of The SSE SWALEC to discuss these proposals.
