Head Coach Robert Croft has named a 13-man squad for tomorrow\'s Specsavers County Championship clash against Gloucestershire at Sophia Gardens.
All-rounder Craig Meschede returns to the fold having recovered from a groin strain which kept him out of last week's defeat to Derbyshire.
The Welsh county will be looking to emulate their performance against Gloucestershire earlier in the season, when they defeated their local rivals by six wickets in the gloom of The Brightside Ground to pick up their only win in the Specsavers County Championship so far.
Batsman Kiran Carlson will be relishing the return of Gloucesterhire to Sophia Gardens after he struck 191 against the West Country side last year, falling just short of becoming the Club's youngest ever double centurion.
"I have some good memories of playing against Gloucestershire and obviously my innings against them last year was one of my better ones in the circumstances," recalled Carlson. "I came in when there was a bit of pressure so it was great to be able to get us on the frontfoot and put a big score on the board in that first innings.
"We then played really well against them at the start of this year to get the win and hopefully we can repeat that performance - if I can make some runs again to contribute to a win then that would be even better."
