Michael Hogan will be the next speaker in the series of virtual talks held via ZOOM by the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket.
Following the success of an in-person session two years ago in the Museum at Sophia Gardens, the long-serving fast bowler will be returning for another highly entertaining and illuminating evening talking about his outstanding career in Australia and the UK.
“Another Evening with Michael Hogan” will commence via ZOOM at 1900 on 10 December with Michael reflecting on his early days in Australia, playing state cricket and then moving to Wales to make his Glamorgan debut. Michael will also be looking back on events during 2020, including life as a professional cricketer (and family man) during lockdown, the reduced season and taking his 600th wicket in all first-class cricket, besides outlining his further goals and aspirations for the future.
Once again, attendance at the virtual meeting will be free of charge and is open to all Glamorgan members and supporters. Those wishing to attend the event are asked to send an email to museum@glamorgancricket.co.uk by 8 December at the very latest. A confirmation reply will be sent out, together with further instructions, whilst joining details for the meeting itself will be sent by email at approx. 1800 on 10 December. For those unable to attend, we will also be filming the event and hope to make a recording available on the Club's YouTube channel.
We also welcome questions in advance for Michael so please send details of any questions for Michael to museum@glamorgancricket.co.uk
