A new sponsor has put their stamp on Glamorgan Cricket's latest kit thanks to an exclusive deal signed ahead of the 2014 season.
MiPost, a hybrid postal services provider, which offers innovative cost saving solutions for businesses of all sizes, will be the main shirt sponsor for Glamorgan's NatWest T20 Blast and Royal London One Day Cup competitions kits.
As well as a key place on the team's shirt, MiPost's branding will be prominently displayed on Glamorgan's website, online sponsors' directory and throughout the stadium.
MiPost is part of A McLay and Company Limited (McLays), a print, digital and mail solutions company based in Cardiff for over 100 years.
Barrie Stevens, Director of marketing for McLays, said: We have an illustrious history in Wales and MiPost is the latest addition to our portfolio. We wanted to take MiPost out to a different market and we felt that a partnership with Glamorgan Cricket was a great way of doing this.
Like McLays, Glamorgan Cricket is a well-established Welsh brand and we felt that there was a real synergy between the two organisations. Our company is full of cricket fans - we actually field a team once a year - so, we're very much looking forward to heading to the SWALEC Stadium and getting behind Glamorgan.
Speaking about the new partnership, Hugh Morris, Glamorgan Chief Executive and Director of Cricket, said: We're very pleased to welcome MiPost to the Glamorgan fold for the season ahead. It is partnerships like this one with MiPost that strengthen our place as one of Wales' leading sports clubs.
