Rain prevented any play on the opening day of Glamorgan\'s two-day friendly with Somerset at Taunton.
Overnight rain and further spells of precipitation this morning and afternoon have meant that no play has been possible at Taunton. After a series of inspections, play was abandoned for the day at 1.40pm.
Somerset's one-day friendly yesterday with Gloucestershire was called off because of rain, but play was possible in the three-day contest between the two sides, which started on Sunday and ended in a draw.
