Leicestershire\'s Niall O\'Brien is targeting a first innings lead after his knock of 93 brought the visitors into the game on Day Two of this Specsavers County Championship match.
O'Brien top scored as Leicestershire compiled 297/6 in reply to Glamorgan's 348 all out.
And O'Brien says the game is still fairly level, but wants his lower order to push on in the morning.
He said: "In the context of the game it's put us in a good position, but it's pretty even-stevens at the moment."
O'Brien's 93 came off 134 balls including 12 fours, before he was caught behind by Mark Wallace off the bowling of Graham Wagg.
He added: "I got a good start and then Glamorgan started to bowl better. The wicket is pretty good so I think there's more runs to be scored. But I'm sure runs won't be as easy to score second time around.
"Any lead is important but a small lead of 30 to 40 might be crucial. Hopefully Ben Raine and Wayne White can take it on in the morning."
White (41*) and Raine (8*) will resume Leicestershire's innings at 11am today at The SSE SWALEC.
