It\'s been a great week for Glamorgan players as they\'ve made their impact overseas, with some tight bowling, determined batting, and a record-breaking display of awesome firepower...
With the end of February approaching and the season less than six weeks from starting, a number of Glamorgan's players have been getting their eye in with some time overseas.
Colin Ingram continued his white hot T20 form over the last few years with a stunning century for the Karachi Kings in the PSL, as he smashed 12 fours and 8 sixes in his 127* from just 59 deliveries.
The match-winning knock included a 91-run partnership with Lancashire's Liam Livingstone (who scored 18 of them) and gave Karachi Kings the win over the Quetta Gladiators. At the time of writing, his PSL average was 42.50 with a strike rate of nearly 180.
Marchant de Lange returned to List A cricket for the first time since May with two great performances for the Knights in South Africa. After taking 3-45 in his first game back, he then followed that with figures of 6.1-1-13-2 as his extraordinarily tight bowling kept the Warriors to only 195.
Charlie Hemphrey's 93 led the way for Queensland in their 441 as he outplayed Ashes hopefuls in Burns, Renshaw and Labuschagne against a table-topping Victoria attack led by Peter Siddle.
In an innings that included nine fours and a six, Hemphrey batted for 218 deliveries and ensured that Queensland would post a sizeable total at the first time of asking.
Hemphrey is the 2nd highest run scorer in the Sheffield Shield for Queensland this year, with 418 runs at an average of 38.
Ruaidhri Smith was part of the Scotland squad that toured Oman and while they may have lost to the Netherlands in his IT20 debut, he certainly played his part in the dismantling of the hosts Oman in the first game of their 50-over series as he had spectacular figures of 8-3-7-4 to help bundle the hosts out for just 24 runs.
Timm van der Gugten also competed in the Oman Quadrangular series for his Netherlands side and took two wickets against Smith's Scotland side. His dismissals of Cross and Macleod stifled the Scottish batting efforts and ensured that the target was one that was within reach.
