Harry Podmore has returned to Middlesex following a loan spell at Glamorgan which saw the paceman take six wickets in two Specsavers County Championship matches.
The 21-year-old seamer made his first-class debut in Glamorgan colours in the match against Kent at Canterbury and bowled impressively against Gloucestershire at Bristol last week.
His best performance came while taking 3/59 at The Brightside Ground, proving himself a reliable option in bowling 23.3 overs, as Glamorgan operated without the injured Graham Wagg.
Unfortunately for Podmore, the emergence of new signing Timm van der Gugten – who has impressed with his burst of pace – meant the youngster's opportunities were limited at The SSE SWALEC.
Podmore is now likely to feature in Middlesex's NatWest T20 Blast campaign. He has taken 13 wickets in 12 T20 matches for his home county.
Glamorgan Cricket would like to pass on its thanks to Harry for his contributions to the team during his time in Cardiff and wish him all the best for the future.
