Glamorgan Head Coach Toby Radford has praised the dressing room positivity that has helped his side extend their unbeaten start to their LV= County Championship campaign to six games with a 10-wicket victory over Northamptonshire.
The victory lifts the Welsh county to third position in Division Two ahead of a trip to second-placed Surrey when the competition resumes on Monday 15 June.
It feels great to have reached early June and to be unbeaten in the championship with two wins on the board, said Radford.
The bowlers have done brilliantly in this game to take 20 wickets and they'll take confidence from the manner in which they've been performing.
The team performance has been excellent in this game and there have been some really pleasing individual contributions to that.
We're playing good cricket and the spirit shown in the wins that we've had, and also the games that we've saved from challenging positions, is reflected in the positivity that exists in our dressing room at the moment.
Radford was quick to praise on-loan all-rounder Craig Meschede who made a telling contribution in the match with four wickets and his second LV= County Championship century of the season.
Craig has been a revelation in red ball cricket and for him to have two championship hundreds already whilst making a good contribution with the ball is great for us, said Radford.
We've got a very busy July and it will be a challenge to manage workloads and keep players feeling fresh but we have some nice problems at the moment with lots of players contributing and one or two players waiting in the wings and keen to force their way into the side.
I'm encouraged because we have some real leaders in the dressing room with the likes of Mark Wallace providing good support for Jacques Rudolph and that has enabled us to play with plans and strategies that are paying off.
