Nick Selman was in jubilant mood after Glamorgan finished the season with a third Specsavers County Championship win.
Set 189 to win in the second innings, Selman led the way with 70, sharing an opening stand of 96 with Connor Brown (33), as Glamorgan won by five wickets.
"It was good to get the win and to score a few here, I had a fair idea about the slope and all that, so a good way to end the season," said Selman.
"Connor played really well to get us off, and we set up a platform for the other guys to finish it off.
"It's been a relatively good summer (902 first-class runs and four hundreds), a bit inconsistent which is frustrating but that's the way it goes opening.
"There's stuff I can work on in the off-season, then come back next year and build from this season."
