Off-spinner Kieran Bull took three wickets on day two of Glamorgan’s Specsavers County Championship clash with Derbyshire, marking a successful return to first-class cricket.

The Welsh county were able to bowl the hosts out for 171, leaving them with a target of 302 to win heading into day three.

Bull felt conditions began to favour spin in Derbyshire’s second innings, and was happy to contribute on his return to the County Championship side - his first match snce 2015.

"It went really well, it was a great feeling to be back after three years out and it was nice to get the reward for working hard," said Bull.

"I just looked to enjoy it and grab the opportunity after being away for so long. I had an operation on my back which kept me out for a long time and follow-up issues, so it's nice to be healthy.

"In the second innings it started to turn a bit so it was in my comfort zone and what I do best. It's a tough chase but hopefully we can get stuck into it and win the game."
