In celebration of our 2021 Royal London Cup triumph, Glamorgan, in partnership with Cardiff Audi is delighted to unveil its trophy tour
Victory at Trent Bridge handed Glamorgan their first piece of silverware in 17 years and the trophy tour will allow supporters and members to see the cup up close in all its glory.
Fans will also be able to take selfies with the trophy and are encouraged to post them on social media to @GlamCricket under the hashtags #TrophyOnTour and #GoGlam to commemorate the famous win.
The trophy will be transported by Cardiff Audi over the course of the next week to various locations in Wales, including Cardiff CC, the local club of Kiran Carlson who led the side to victory in Nottingham.
Community and development manager, Mark Frost, said: “Winning the Royal London Cup was a momentous occasion for the club, and it was even more special it came in our 100th year as a first-class county.
“The trophy tour will allow our supporters to celebrate the success of Trent Bridge and remember what has already become one of the most famous victories in our history.
“We hope as many supporters as possible will come out and join us as we take the trophy to clubs and communities across south Wales and hope to inspire a new generation of cricketers and fans.”
