Aneurin Donald had a memorable day in the Colts League for Midland-Guildford CC who racked up 347/9 off 50 overs to assume control in their match against Wanneroo Districts (192/9 off 43 overs).
Nye smashed 131 off 82, including 11 fours and 9 sixes as well as taking a catch to dismiss opposition captain and opening bat Moses and even bowled an over (0-6).
Donald has been in fine form after scoring 60 in the previous Colts League match, and now has 462 runs in his last 6 innings in all formats, including a first half century of the season in first grade, a T20 century and now a second ton against the Wanneroo Districts CC.
Also in Western Australia Kieran Bull returned to First Grade action this weekend for Rockingham-Mandurah, but was unable to add to his 10 wickets for the club as Mount Lawley progressed to 118/1 in reply to 239. Essex batsman Callum Taylor has a half century in the match, but due in next is Michael Klinger.
Nick Selman’s has continued his consistent run scoring at the top of the order for Sunshine Gold Coast. The 21-year-old missed the first four rounds but now has 549 first grade runs to his name from 13 innings at an average of 42.23 with his team picking up three wins out of four over the weekend.
