Glamorgan Head Coach Toby Radford recalls Ruaidhri Smith to the 13-man squad to face Sussex Sharks this afternoon in the NatWest T20 Blast.
With his small set of professional players free from injury to call upon Radford has picked the same squad for the third T20 Blast home match in succession, as the Welsh county aims to build upon home wins against Middlesex and Somerset last time out in Cardiff.
Following two early losses to Essex Eagles and Hampshire, Glamorgan have been in good form in the Welsh capital since the partnership of Meschede and Rudolph was formed at the top of the order, plus there have been some stand-out performances from the likes of Parnell, Hogan, Ingram and Wagg in recent weeks.
Last year at The SSE SWALEC Darren Sammy and Chris Cooke combined to give Glamorgan a last-ball victory against the South coast county and Wagg his counting on the team's form this year and the character the squad has shown to bounce back to secure victory and their fifth win in the shortest format this season on Sunday afternoon.
We've shown good character this season, even in our loss against Essex and now we go into the match against Sussex Sharks, which is a must-win game for us.
We've had a day off today to travel back to Cardiff and we'll be ready to go again and hit the ground hard against Sussex. It's a must-win game for us as it is for all T20 games and our mindset doesn't change.
Sussex are full of good cricketers, a very strong unit in most formats, but there's no reason we can't beat them, we've beaten some of the best in the country so far this year so we'll go out there on Sunday and give it our best.
Glamorgan squad to play Sussex Sharks: Jacques Rudolph (c), Chris Cooke, Dean Cosker, Michael Hogan, Colin Ingram, David Lloyd, Craig Meschede, Wayne Parnell, Andrew Salter, Ruaidhri Smith, Graham Wagg, Mark Wallace, Ben Wright.
