Glamorgan CCC Community Team continued the build up to the new season at Caerphilly Leisure Centre last weekend.
The scheme run by Streetgames Wales aims to develop opportunities for disadvantaged communities to access a range of sports and activities for free. Glamorgan' s popular inflatable mobile unit attracted over 400 children at Caerphilly Leisure Centre.
Community Cricket Development Officer Ed Smart and community coaches Glen Williams and Stuart Grimmond, helped the children get to try out the skills of cricket, including batting - trying to hit big and small targets in the inflatable, and bowling with a speed gun to see how fast they could bowl.
This event was the latest in a series of activities which will also see Glamorgan attend Cardiff City fixtures, Urdd Eisteddfod and Sports Expo at the Motorpoint Arena.
