Glamorgan comfortably completed their third successive LV= County Championship win of the season when they defeated Surrey by seven wickets with 29 overs to spare at Guildford, but it didn't look like that would be the case before the tea interval on day 2
The win takes Glamorgan to within 12 points of second-placed Surrey in Division Two and the Welsh county have a game in hand. Leaders Lancashire are 60 points clear of the Welsh county, but have played two more matches than Glamorgan.
This was the best win since I have been involved with the club, said Glamorgan coach Toby Radford, who is in his second season in charge.
When you look back when Surrey were 208 for no wicket in their first innings and we were 106 for six, it just shows the competitive spirit within the side.
It was a terrific effort from Graham Wagg, Mark Wallace and Michael Hogan, who bowled as well as he's done all season.
Next up for Glamorgan in red ball cricket is the visit of Leicestershire to Cardiff next Monday, but with a couple of T20s before then, first against Essex Eagles at Chelmsford tomorrow night then at The SSE SWALEC on Sunday for the visit of Sussex Sharks (2.30pm start). Tickets are available priced £15 for adults in advance and our family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children is priced £35
